    Basically saree or sarhi is an indian traditional dress. It is an unstitched cloth which is about seven to nine meter long and draped over the body in various styles. Sarees are normally rapped around the wrist and draped over the shoulder. Sarees are usually wore with the petticoat and blouse sometimes called choli. The blouse has short sleeves or sleeve less with low neck. The blouses may be backless or of a strap neck style. Sarees are more stylish with embalishment of embroidary, mirror work or kora work. Sarees are further decorated after weaving in various styles for example zardozi (gold and silver thread work), precious stones, imitation stones and pearls.
    Sarees are made of different clothes like chiffon, silk, zari, jamawar and nylon. Some are printed to wore casually.BAsically indian women wore sarees fomally and caually. Women of karachi also wore sarees in their normal routine but in other countaries sarees are wore on any speacial occasion like parties, weddings and traditional events.

    • Northen Style
    • Eastern Style
    • Central Style
    • Western Style
